Hello, friends. We were wondering around Ojai looking for tarot cards when we found this store and these signs.

Doors

The chalkboard sign in front of the "For Sale" signs reads:

"This is a period of divine accomplishment for me. Closed doors are now opening before me. Everything I undertake leads to success in accordance with the highest possibilities of my destiny. I celebrate the abundance and kindness of the Universe."

We know that this world doesn't hold all of us in the same way but we maintain hope that the universe does. In these times when we're remembering and honoring the closed doors and the darkness, we want to also see the light. We want to see "the abundance and kindness of the Universe" reflected in our gathered communities and chosen families.

Love each other this weekend, offer silence to the hearts quieted too soon, and take great care with the ones still beating.

Morning, dear community! Is everyone enjoying the brisk Fall chill? We're still reveling in it... and by reveling we mean hibernating. Have we mentioned how much we're in support of the occasional seasonal hibernation?

Sure, it's important to get out and run and play and breathe deep but never underestimate the healing power of a thick comforter, a hot cup of tea, and a good book. Know, that whether or not you get out of bed and move through a super productive day that you're always in a new moment of transformation. Have faith that whether or not you mark off a giant to do list you're already winning at moving through a season change.

Let the Fall renew you. Open your eyes. Full steam ahead.

Hello loved ones... You beautiful majestic creatures! Some of us are heading out of town and off to Oahu, HI. It's less of a vacation and more of a pilgrimage back home. Still, we certainly can't complain.

We plan to breathe in as deeply as the humidity will allow us, send gratitude to every mosquito that makes it known we're impeding upon their turf, and generally slow the fuck down... at least for a few days.

We've been rushing around getting ready for our trip and trying to ready this space for some upcoming changes when we realized what we really needed was to slow down and clear space... that all this was enough.

After we stumbled upon this little twitter truth bomb we took some deep inhales and exhales. We heated up a yoga room and used this as mantra while we sweated, stretched, strengthened, and played with our local yoga community. We opened our hearts and let our skin weep. We twisted and collapsed into heaps of flesh, grounded to earth. We marinated in the healing sacred scent of Palo Santo and rhythmic resonation of each other's breath.

So, that was our long winded way of saying, we're taking a short break and will return to regularly scheduled programming soon. In the mean time, if you're local, here's a list of who's holding down the fort...

Oh, hello friends! We're back from our travels and the summer is starting to cool down. It's not here quite yet but we can feel the change in the seasons hovering just around the corner. We're still  sweating around midday but there are these moments in the morning while we're drinking our coffee (and moments in the evening when we're drinking our whiskey) where you get this little crisp whisper beckoning in the Fall.

Take a lesson from the Fall breeze, friends. Take a moment in the mornings to look out on the horizon, take a moment in the evenings to look up at the stars, take a moment when the world feels like it's rushing by to take a long deep breath.

Sure, it's hot, but it's summer! Don't rush through it. Change is coming. Don't be scared of it. Everything is cycle. Seasons change, identities transform, day turns to night. Sink into it with peace and contentment. Breathe it in and let it fill your lungs with stars.

Is all this feeling like too much? Do you feel weighted down, discontent, lacking in access to light?
