PAYMENT/OFFICE POLICIES

Per the “No Surprises Act” (H.R. 133), a Good Faith Estimate (a notification of expected charges for a scheduled service) is available.

It will be provided to you at the start of services and yearly thereafter.

INSURANCE

I am not paneled with any insurance companies, but I can provide you with a super bill (invoice) for out-of-network reimbursement by your insurance company.

A NOTE ON FEES:

I offer a sliding scale based on community collaboration when needed. Instead of tiered levels based on income or any surveillance of resources, I work to maintain an average fee across my caseload at a sustainable number of clients and sessions, allowing me to show up consistently and fully present.

Once a rate is set at the start of our work together, that rate remains available to you for the duration of our therapeutic relationship. Any rare increases in rate are done through mutual discussion and request. My goal is to maintain a buffer in my average fee so that, if you experience a decrease in resources during our work together, you never have to stop treatment solely for financial reasons and can access the frequency that is most helpful to your healing, regardless of economic restrictions.

If you're using a sliding-scale spot and experience an increase in resources, I invite you to let me know when and which shift feels sustainable for you. Subsequently, I pass on any flexibility this provides to a new or existing client who would find it helpful. This way, even though you may not know each other, we all support one another in the community!

Due to this commitment, the availability of sliding-scale spots is constantly changing. I encourage new and ongoing clients to inquire as needed.

a special note of support for my fellow healers...

Marginalized communities face unique mental health challenges—not from inherent deficit, but because systemic oppression prioritizes survival over thriving. As healers within these communities, we hold space for others' pain while navigating our own experiences of marginalization and institutional harm.

I offer specialized support for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC therapists, coaches, educators, and care workers, or those supporting these communities. I help with processing compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, professional conflicts, and the complexities of doing liberation work within systems not designed for our well-being.

How I Support Healers & Care Workers

Professional ruptures and conflicts: Navigating disagreements, community tensions, and relational breakdowns without perpetuating harm

Vicarious trauma and compassion fatigue: Building sustainable practices that honor capacity while maintaining commitment to communities

Nervous system regulation: Cultivating groundedness to respond rather than react during challenges

Identity and authenticity in professional spaces: Showing up fully while maintaining boundaries within systemic constraints

Ethical dilemmas and moral injury: Processing conflicts between personal values and institutional or community expectations

Sustainable care practices: Deepening capacity to hold complexity without sacrificing well-being

Prioritizing your mental health as a healer is resistance and self-preservation. Investing in yourself models sustainable care for clients and communities. You deserve support that honors your humanity, acknowledges unique challenges, and builds capacity for continued liberation work.

My approach integrates:

  • Trauma-informed care that recognizes systemic oppression

  • Culturally responsive therapy rooted in lived experience

  • Practical tools for navigating discrimination and building resilience

  • Authentic connection that respects autonomy and wisdom

Whether you need structured mental health support, relationship coaching, or guidance through transitions, I offer compassionate, embodied care—creating space for healing to unfold at your pace.
